i think you need an alignment. i can take my hands off the wheel and the car will stay straight in its lane at 80mph. thats just springs and front strut bar on my OZ

I third that!

I used to drive an ES and it was kinda scary going anywhere over 100 cuz the steering response gets really bad at those speeds. Not to mention a b*tch load of body roll. If you wanna go that fast and keep the car glued to the road you have to get it closer to the ground, increase the downforce, and get stickier/wider tires.

I also have this problem with my my lancer (04 ES) I notice at about 120 like you said it feels like im damn near flying. I'm thinking this has a lot to do with suspension though because a light car thats pretty far off the ground and going 120 without an anti sway bar or springs is most likely going to get a lil tilt in it from the wind passing underneath. I myself backed off at 120 because I didn't feel i had complete control anymore and I have gone over 150 in my old 95 eclipse, which to my knowledge is about the same weight, but it was lowered and that thing was glued to the road. My best guess would be to get the anti sway bar and get it lowered.

we can get the RDD FRONT, REAR AND LOWER TIE all 3 bars shipped for $199.00.

Also RRM Sway bar w/ autcroos perches is about $239.00 + shipping. Total will be around $500.00 and than take it all to a shop and once and have them install it.

nice how to on install

I have felt a little drifting at around 100+ but nothing major. I'm going to lower it, and buy front strut bar and rear tie bar and see if that helps any.

stock and no problems even @ 120+...felt a little sway on bridges on windy days though but i think the subwoofers in the trunk helped that

yeh, no problems here either.... I think you have a balance/allignment problem coupled with wind that moves the car a bit. The lancer is rather comfy at speeds. imo

Bad news, i drove it today and still the same problem. So now i am thinking either alignment or just RDD strut bars.
