intake questions (intake side of engine)

now, I am getting my piggy back this week and I am going to be ordering my tb/IM this week or next and I was wondering with stock exhaust and no other mods would I be running too lean? or will the piggy compensate enough for this until I can get the wideband and tuning software? Also, the IM will be the mirage manifold bored out and installed if that makes a difference (since it is bigger and flows better. thanks.

you'll be fine. you'd kinda have to be leaning more than lopsided donkey ***** to do damage NA.

Just be sure to reset the ECU after you install the new upgrades.

only reason I was checking is because the piggy back leans you out and if I am opening up the intake side all at once I didn't want to hurt anything, exhaust will come in a few moe weeks. thanks guys.

At first when I installed the Ported Intake manifold I ran a tad on the lean side, but it all came back to normal within a few days.

not to jack this thread or anything but I have a question about the IM/tb combo. I am wanting to use a 4g93 manifold but I want to know how the tb matches up. Do you have to order a different one, bore the stock one, or what??? Tweak3d it would be great if you or someone else could let me know. Thanks in advance.

TB fits fine, but 2 of the stock bolts are too long, you can get 2 shorter ones from a local hardware store, other than that gaskets fit the same for both the TB and the Head. you do also have to make a custom mount for the throttle cable because the mounting point is in a different spot. FInalyl depending on the exact IM you got, you may need to T into one of your other vaccum lines because some of the manifolds are missing a barb that we need but T'ing into anotherone hasn't had any ill effects for anyone else.
