Can this claim be true?

A while ago I ordered a Magnaflow catback and decided to search their site today and see if they had any other info on the system I ordered and came across this system for the 02 OZ...

Now that is a pretty big gain and a big claim that they are making but they have the "dyno sheet" to back it up. Now I've never read of anyone here having a gain like that with their exhaust. I know Magnaflow is a respected company like K&N and such but is this true?

e-mail them and tell them that if youre car doesnt dyno those numbers you want your money back ( and to keep the exhaust) b/c otherwsie its false advertising which i believe is a federal offense >=)

That dyno is most likely for engine horsepower and not wheel horsepower.

Regardless the numbers dont seem to add up.

numbers definately look off. if it is a dyno based on engine horsepower, shouldn't it be at least 120hp then?

Yeah it doesnt appear to be engine HP because the base hp and Torque is right where it should be stock at the wheels. Seems to be quite a large gain though...

sure. just up the SAE correction factor.

they could have also have done each dyno in different gears. i've seen dyno sheets on K&N's site where the sheet says they'd dyno'd in 2nd.
