Front License Plate
I have the front plate on my Evo because that's one law I can go without breaking. Why draw any MORE attention to the car. Plus I like how it looks cocked to the side. Kinda JDMish.
i have the front plate. i used to not have it on, but i got a fix it ticket, put it on, and realized it doesn't look that bad. i would rather have one less reason to pull me over, so i leave it on.
hey im from wisconsin also ... and yea i have my on .. i dont really think it looks that bad ... it hasnt bothered me ... plus like everyone else says .. its one less reason to get pulled over ...
Huh? I took mine off a year ago here in Mass (when the car wash ripped the plate holder partially out of my bumper), and haven't had a problem. My experience is that it only matters when you get the car inspected.

for the performance nuts, having the front plate ON doesn't make a dent in cooling airflow.
Best Motoring International had an "enduro" test where 4 cars in the 280ps+ class competed HARD for 20 solid minutes on a roadcourse to see which could manage high water and oil temps best, and the Evo won hands down with maintainable temperatures. (this wasn't the case in previous years tests where it overheated and was forced to retire). It was also way ahead of the pack in lap times. It was up against an M3 CSL, an STi spec C, and an NSX.

I think you're the one that needs to check up on your Mass state law -- I know the Mass law wrt license plates. Did you notice that almost all of the green ones look old and faded, and almost all of the red plates look newer than all of the green plates? What can you deduce from that? I'll give you some time to think about it . . .
Hint: No, you can't just ask for a green plate, otherwise don't you think you'd see some NEW ones? lol

i think ill ride around with no plates... like a true hero... my buddy nabbed a dealer plate off a parked mitsu in our lot... he rode around with that thing on and no one touched him... wonder how long he could have pulled that off..
