Wow this exploded fast. Ok they are installed correct, both according to the instructions on this site and the schroth instructions. There are harnesses that hook up to the child seat hooks though, and I believe on some cars they have to be used. I considered a harness bar, but realistically I'm not looking to run these on the street, only during autocross events where the risk of a rollover is very low and is certainly not high enough to warrant the extra cost needed to run a full cage, fixed seats and 6 point harnesses (since realistically a harness bar isn't going to help that problem). Unfortunately the harness parts (left and right) are one piece units so to have passengers in the rear isn't as simple as just detaching the front section. All I have to do is take off my headrest and put the parts to their respective sides thus causing the harness to basically lie across the floor.
If you don't have passengers in the back then it shouldn't be too big of a deal.. When/If I ever get seat harnesses I will be sure to look into ones that unclip right behind the seat.
Looks good though

Yeah once I pay my VISA bill (replaced my crappy 5 year old computer), my speeding ticket and save up some money I plan on getting rims and tires and then start autocrossing. Hopefully can get some pics/videos up during the summer.
scroth has extra webbing stiched in incase of a collision to allow the right or left(cant remember) should to give a little like a oem 3-point would in a collision... so amby should be perfectly safe.

Yeah I figure if I'm going to do it, I'll do it properly. Wasn't gonna get some super expensive rims, just a set if 15 rota grids or slipstreams and a set of BFG G-Force Sports for tires.

The thread is 3 years old but thanks for actually searching rather than make a repeat thread.
