DO mufflers like that make "noise" when accelerating and what not? if not what ones do

universal muffler = teh gay.. (annoying noise, no power gain, junk)

quality catback system = win (sounds nice and deep + small power gain, lasts long time)

 

they do make noise yes. but it sounds like a can of angry bees. =(. I would suggest getting a good axelback if you are just looking for the noise or a full catback for a bit more power. will cost you a bit more but you will thank us all later.

 

Ew. If you want one that makes "noise" go to autozone and get one of those weld on universals, the APC ones with the Civic on the box. If you want one with a nice "tone" go with a catback. Wiretap pretty much hit the nail on the head, and then tweak just finished it off.

 

just buy the $79 ones from rrm...done deal
