So do you want the filter, or the whole intake?

^Thats what i was thinkin...if u just want a filter then they use the same on CAI and SRI...just many variations for all the manufacturers.

I thought I heard somewhere that you could relocate the battery to be able to fit a CAI? Then again if you get a CAI you have to get a bypass valve, that is if you live anywhere where the water gets high! The last thing you want with that is hydrolock on you car! YIKES!! I saw somebody that made a "custom" cough GHETTO cough cough CAI with one of those dryer hoses, yeah the hose that most of us have on our dryers at home! I don't know how that works, but ok! I'm out! Good luck in your search!

I forgot who it was but I remember someone got a shop to remove one the radiator fans(I wouldnt suggest this) to get the intake in. You could relocate the battery or you could get one custom made.

i think theres a piece of metal behind the driver side headlight you can cut out. Prolly be able to run a small diameter piping through there...afterb relocating the battery first of course...

i run an auto too .. do Not waste the extra 100 dollars for the cold air intake not to mention the **** you need to relocate your battery .. get a short ram intake which improves pretty much identically .. K&N i would go with for short ram

umm no they are not identical and you dont need to relocate the battery....you cut out the piece under the headlight and slide, i repeat slide the battery over NOT RELOCATE...And if ur talking about getting the typhoon its a waste of money.

I have the typhoon...i got it for 165...brand new...I highly doubt that it was a waste...i had a custom set-up with just a filter before...and I prefer typhoon setup better....

cold air and short ram are almost identical when it comes to gains...

I agree 100%. I had the 03 AEM cai custom modded to fit my 05 OZ m/t, and my soft mount finally broke and rubbed a tiny hole in the cai pipe, so I just took the whole thing off and put the filter and mas adapter plate on my mas with the stock rubber hose coming off the throttle body, and to tell the truth I can tell no difference at all with the butt dyno. I custom made a bracket to attach to my mas bolts to support the weight of the filter on the stock rubber hose since i'm a machinist by trade. Whole setup works flawlessly imo.

Adapter plate at pepboys for MAF: $16.00

K&N 4" inlet filter: $44.00

Knowing that you just made a very cheap SRI and works the same as the other high dollar intakes: PRICELESS!!!

I ended up getting one on ebay, with a K&N Filter for 39.99+20 s&h. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-04...spagenameZWDVW. The cheapest I found the K&N Typhoon was on http://www.crutchfield.com/S-qHbk7Mb...g=224650&avf=Y for $179.99 plus shipping. I priced the filter by itself on K&N's site is $43.66. I figure the filter is the important part, the piping is the same, save $120.00.
