When I am crusing at around 30 mph it squeals until I hit the breaks and then it stops. I'm thinking it could be my rotors or something... it's so annoying now that it's getting nicer out and I want to drive with my windows down.

Yeah , I was going to saw we really don't have a "fan belt"; it's more like an accessory drive belt...

had the same problem, bought stp belt dressing, sprayed some on my altanator belt. no more noise

You're probably low on brake pads. The little clips that signal your brakes are low only work when you're driving (by squealing). When you hit the brakes, then everything is clamped together and you don't hear it.

belt sprays are a false sense of security. sure the noise goes away but squealing belts squeal for only two reasons: 1. The belt is loose or 2. The belt is slipping. The only REAL fix is to replace the belt or adjust the tension correctly

the belt squeeling is something I heard all lancers do on cold start up. Or mabey im thinkning of different problem. mine does the cold start squeel but one im warm its fine.
