my belt is squeeling when i first start my car then when i rev it up it goes away. only does it cold. i checked the tension and there is lots i dont knwo why its doing it but it is.
I had this problem when i first got my car last may. i sprayed some belt ease ( something like wd40) on my alternator belt and after a few applications over the course of a few days the sound went away, for good.

mine was doing that too, but it stops when I accelerate and when I degrease my engine and spray engine dressing all over. It has to be the belt, but I can't take my car to get that stuff yet until I can get my hood fixed! NC sucks!
yea its the belts. same happens with me at the same speeds so i believe its the belts because i checked the breaks and those are fine. Anyone know when to change ur alternator and power steering belts.
