the only good thing about my mechanic
is he was willing to mess with my cat converters.
Upon further investigation not only did he put the 2nd 02 sensor in the wrong place (according to our discussion prior to work starting). He didn't install the RRM CEL eliminator at all - let alone in the right location. I will buy an o2 wrench tomorrow - maybe just moving the o2 to the right hole (Behind HFC, not in front) will fix the problem. At this point, spending another $25 (though I'm not complaining about price) on a CEL doesn't make much sense... however...
I did get a new job today! Youre reading from the newest member of the Central Florida Sheet Metal Workers locale. Maybe I am turning socialist - but I think I will like working with a union.
Thanks to mom and dead for all those high class degrees I'm not using anymore! Hopefully, eventually, I will at least get to learn to weld and get paid to weld.
