After looking everywhere for an OEM EVO VIII Spoiler and none could be found, I've decided that I'm going to buy the fiberglass one at this one local store for $300. It has carbon fiber in the center piece. I was wondering if I could get everyone's advice on how bad is fiberglass compared to ABS and other plastics? And whether or not $300 is a reasonable price? Thanks.

 

Check out the used section. What color is your lancer? You should be able to pick one up for about 100 dollars cheaper than that, or at least have it be an actual OEM Evo wing.

 

Holy crap man! Dont pay that much. Look in the for sale section on the main fourm page. With $300 you should be able to buy an oem evo wing. DONT DO IT. You will kick yourself later.

 

I have a silver 05 ES. I've tried looking everywhere in the for sale section, but no one seems to be selling a EVO VIII spoiler locally (Southern California). There were some, but they were in the other states, and most of them are old threads. Tried PMing some ppl, but no response =/.

 

fiberglass is a good material. most bodykits are made of fiberglass and they hold up just fine. here is one for you on ebay

Be patient and take your time. As soon you pay 300 bucks for the wing, one will come up for sale here, that's the way it always works

 

i can vouch for that, it has happened to me many times.

 

Got mine (which was the right color) for 160$ plus my OZ wing, just be patient

 

Be patient, like others are saying; you won't reget getting an OEM Evo spoiler.
