Body Kits
I've been reading alot of posts about body kits, and from what I understand there are basically 4 companies that make them so far:
Accolade - Kits look nice, but reviews are bad, people say they've waited 8 months for kits, they're customer service is bad and to be honest one of there kits is a cheap rip off of a Japanese Kit. I emailed them and they said they can send me a Apex Style shipped to Canada for $900. Now I'm no idiot, but how the hell can they manufacture and ship a kit for under $1000? Sounds pure sketchy to me.
Shark Racing - Seems to be the same company or be a subsiduary of Accolade. Kits look the same and the reviews are still sketchy.
Kaminari - I don't really like these kits, but then again I've never been a fan of Kaminari. I think if you're looking for quality and a US brand, go with them unless of course you have more money, which leads me to the last company.
Kenstyle - Makers of the TRUE Kenstyle kit for the Lancer. Absolutely spectacular in my opinion. I did a direct exchange conversion from Yen to CDN Dollars and it came out to roughly $1600. I think it's worth every single penny. The kit includes front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a front grill replacement that looks similar to the RRE style.
Personally I'm just going to go with the Kenstyle, shipping maybe a ***** and sure it's going to take 28 days to get here, but when it comes to JDM quality I know they are up there with Veilside and Bomex.
