Trade in value for my Lancer

They gave me $6,000. I owed $5,000. Book value at $5,000 fair I had a water leak in driver side I didn't mention. It happens when it rains. Thats why I traded it. It Had rpw headers, Custum exhuast, custum Air filter, oh hell with it check the sig. I figure they give me the (fair value) in the book value which is $5,000, The good is $5,700.

I'm going to cut my losses pretty soon and trade it for a car that holds its value a whole lot better...

I was offered 6k too. But might have a handle on a local sale for 8.5k (hell yeah!).

lmao. thanks for the encouragement.

i do have a good excuse though. no where in SW florida did anyone have a lancer. i went to the actual mitsu dealership, and even they didnt have any lancers.
my options where as follows:

10,000 Civic's
10,000 Camry's
1 Lancer

im pretty sure i made the right choice. even if i did pay an extra $2k than i would have for a civic or something.
prices in florida are still expensive. even KIA's are pricey. lol

Well you got to take the fall at some point in your life so you get some credit and stuff for bigger better things in the future. In 2002 mine was like 18,000 out the door. I'd be lucky to get 6k on a trade and probably more like 5k. And its only got 36,000 on it. Thats like an atomic kick to the ***** right there.

Where y'all get the loot to jump from a Lancer to a Beemer? I'd have to rob a bank or three.
