Instead of thinking why you should buy this cooler, think of a reason why not. Use the money to buy a performance mod that will make you really happy. This transmission cooler will maybe benefit you after 100k miles or more but who will care then? Let's just say it's not so crucial as oil cooler or cold air intake. Save some money and buy RRM's piggyback, it will make you smile every time you will drive your car.

Unless your tranny is acting up and your floorboards are hella hot, I'd pass on this.

Transmission coolers are generally for vehicles that are worked hard like towing in hot weather. If you drive the car normally and the shifter console doesn't feel really hot you're probably fine without one.

Oil coolers are for cars that are high output or turbo charge cars. The oil can get really hot with the turbo spinning which is why they come stock on the evo.

That would be a good idea.

Oil and Tranny coolers are mostly suited for Turbo'd applications. You "can" put'em on a N/A Vehicle, but there would really be no point.

Out of curiousity, Crypto? What mods do you presently have? I see you posting everywhere on here..

Tranny and oil coolers are for cars that . . . (wait for it) . . . run hot.

If your tranny was overheating, a tranny cooler would be a great idea. Same with the oil. But your car is near-stock. You won't need anything like this for a long time.

I have a modified 5.3L V8, and I don't have an oil cooler. Do you need one for your stock 2.0L? Doubtful.
