You are kidding right? Other than than they don't work as a jammer, they don't work as a detector and since there is nothing inside they don't work as a paperweight. Use the Google button and read about them a little more.
Oh, so I take it that you have one, or have had one. If not, than everything you just said would be defined as ignorance. I have had one for two years, no tickets, and it has saved my butt more than once. I have read up on it, and the people that dispute its performance also usualy direct you to the radar detector that they endorse, or are selling, somewhere on the page. That is the equivelant of saying that product sucks so here buy mine. Good old Roy has to make money too.

One of the many sites that tests detectors and found Rocky Mountain to be total frauds. http://www.radartest.com/
And by Roy I figure you are talking about Radar Roy and he tests everything so people can make their own decisions. I guess you are having trouble reading the results.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got the Rocky Mountain Radar c430. It has a built in scrambler/jammer along with radar detector. So far so good. I blew past a cop on 295 w/o even realizing it and nothing yet. It cost me like $250 or so but well worth it
I've been using a V1 for three years now. I've gotten two tickets while using it. Once when I got nailed with instant-on radar while passing a car on a two lane road, and the second time with laser at night. No way I could have avoided the first ticket. The cop was well-hidden, and he hadn't used the radar on any cars in front of me. Second one I should have known better than to speed at night. Bottom line is that a radar detector helps, but its no guarantee, especially with laser radar. Its getting to the point now where countermeasures are necessary, e.g. radar/laser jammers, non-reflective coatings on headlight lenses and front license plates (Veil), etc.
I have no trouble reading, these are some posts I found, There are sites that explain Roy's results that I guess you have trouble reading. Hhttp://www.radarjammers.com/pages/do-they-work.shtmley. Look, they are all trying to sell detectors, they are competiters, and you cant take what any of them say as 100% true. I just posted my experience with the product and I dont give opinions on products that I have no knowledge of like some people do. Even the "Guys of Lidar" posts that the RMR is a decent detector while they explain all the arguments against the product. Bottom line is unless your invisible you can get a ticket if your in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Anybody that buys RMR products is an idiot.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Nothing by RMR or Rocky Mountain Radar will jam laser or radar and their radar detection sucks.

You know whats funny? I am in an E-business class for college right now and this weeks assignment is about conducting ethical behavior on the internet. Radarjammers.com is definitely conducting unethical behavior on the net and is now the subject of my soon to be finished paper on it.

RadarJammers.com
P.O. Box 50258
Colorado Springs, CO 80949
US

Domain Name: RADARJAMMERS.COM
This is what you get for a domain search on the site. I hope the connection between Rocky Mountains and Colorado Springs is easy for you to see. What a joke.

go to radarbusters.com they are offering a 5000 reward for some one to prove that a passive laser jammer will work. rocky mountain uses a passive laser jammer.

to the person who started the post. i can tell that you do not know know alot about radar detctors and jammers. go to different sites and look up different radar detectors. their is many sites about them. imo i would get the v1. it is the best on out there. it has been voted the best many times by consumers. i have the x50 right now and it is good.

POP =/= instant on. POP is a very short burst of radar, only a few milliseconds long, to get an idea of how fast the target is moving. Techincally police are not allowed to use POP to write a ticket. They can use it as the first measurement, then they have to switch to a standard mode to verify the speed. POP is inheritly inaccurate, because it is such a short burst.

Yeah, I'm silly, an idiot and I got ripped off. Anyway, I'm done talking about it, all I'm saying, as someone who has one, it saved my butt twice just yesturday on a 200mi trip. I'll agree with you, for the sake of not having to talk about it anymore, but it does detect and gives me plenty of time to slow down and that is ultimately what we buy them for.

I have a Valetine One ,which cost me $400 and it has kept me from getting many tickets. An example:
I was driving from AUTOZONE yesterday at like noon doing 60 in a 45 and there were 4 cars behind me when the radar started to light up showing 2 Ka straight ahead with a weak signal than stopped. After about 10 secs the radar lights up with the same reading except the signal was much stronger. So I slow down to 40 and let the other 4 car pass me each doing about 55 or 60. Ahead there was a 60 degree left turn about 3/4 a mile ahead with a lot of shrubery to the left. The other 4 cars go through the turn while the valentine is about to make my ears bleed. As I go through the turn the direction of the signal switched from ahaed to side to behind. Ahead of me there were 2 city cops writing tickets and 1 directing cars "caught" to pull over. All 4 cars that passed me were pulled to the side and given tickets. I was happy, but I was also like WTF? Which cop was using the radar gun. I look in my rear-view and there was a city cop in the shrubs with a radar gun and water bottle talking on the radio attached to his chest. The cop directing let me pass.

By the way, my mom uses a Passport 8500 X50 and has never received a ticket.

Something to remember:
-Just because you have a radar detector doesn't mean you won't get stopped by law enforcement officers for speeding, careless operation, or reckless operation. If they suspect you will be stopped.
-Make sure your detector is plugged in and on. A year I was charging my phone so the dectetor was not plugged in. Got a 63 in a 55 just because it wasn't plugged in.

Quit talking about Phazer jammers or RMR or Rocky Mountain Radar, I will repeat this one last time.
