Alright bring this back to life instead of starting a new thread.
Would a mini-battery supply enough power for my car to run properly? even with a system already installed?
AT the moment I have a yellow top optima but that thing is maaad heavy and one of my options is to do a battery relocation to the trunk. Would just putting in a mini-battery be easier or do I have to have 2 batteries?
I just don't get how a mini can power all that stuff the EVO guys put in their cars.

There is 2 ways that you can find out. The first is that someone here on this forum has a lancer that is all tricked out with lights, sound system, gauges, etc and he has a mini batt that is working fine for his needs or You need to measure exactly how many volts and amps you use when you car is off, then when its cranking up, then when its running with everything running at the same time (eg Soundsystem, AC, gauges, lights, ect) once you know that then you can look at the specs of a mini batt and see if you can find one that will meet your power needs. I have a optima red top and honesty I just relocated it to the trunk so much eaiser and I have more than enough power. I did that for under 30 bucks and that was not buying a kit plus I have all that space under my hood that the batt took up. ( And yes guys I have cut off switch for the batt for when I finally take my car to the track).

Passenger side on the inside of the car under the scuff sils because the large hole in the firewall is on that side so it was easier to continue running it down that side. I bought about 18ft of 2g wire, a battery box and gold plated terminals & connectors from Autozone or was it Advance Auto Parts anyway I cant remember cus i did this about 5 months ago.
