Basically sc sucks compared to turbo. Turbo can put out more power and can always be upgraded to be better

I think the blackbox was more than a simple PB.

LancerOZ Boy - we don't need that crap. If you think turbo is better, great. But don't say something else sucks just because it isn't as cool as the thing you like.

problem is their black box controlled the methonal injection which droped temps... with out that who knows what the temps will be and you would have to rig up some kind of controller to spray the meth for you.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, good point. I think without any kind of intercooling you can get up to 7psi safely but that's it. I think that's what their old Stage 1 did.

This has been discussed quite a bit, I don't think it's really a worry so much as just something to keep in mind. The big difference is that the boost doesn't all come at once, but builds from 2k until around 5.5k rpm. I have tried to compare dynos of turbo vs sc at similar psi and rpm, and I didn't see much difference. Turbo has a slight edge but really the big difference is how the boost comes on.

ive found the same thing when i was researching it.
turbo comes in later but at full power, supercharger starts right away but builds up power.

it all depends on what you prefer. Personally i would like to have power throughout the whole power band as i do a lot of city driving, and really never go higher than 50mph. So i would go super.
