I am a 5 speed lancer and I am in Pittsburgh PA, I have only lived here for six months and I do not know the elevation, the weather today was really humid and about 70 degrees today

wow. enjoy your clutch! it helps a lot with the launch. 16's have been done with little or no mods.

just that your clutch is still new. i think the first time i went to the track, i had about 70k on the car. the next time was about after 100k and there was a big difference in launch. i'm still on the stock clutch at 134k. not really slipping yet.

well, my first run had the most ****tiest tune ever and i had a 17.2. super rich on the low end since i had an afc. my 2nd run caught a 16.7 with a not so sticky clutch. my slips are in the registry under the timeslips tab.

I will check out your times I was just wondering because the biggest part of the 1/4 mile is the begining, the first 60' to 1/8 and was wondering what other lancer drivers are running in the 1/4 mile

I'm not sure how much of a difference there is in our cars power-wise. When I ran at the track I was lightly modded and according to your timeslips, I must have been in 16's. I don't remember anything else offhand, but my 1/8 was 10.6@65.4mph. It was also 80 degrees with high humidity where I was, low alt. though. I think you have a lot of room to improve.

What do you have done to your cars ? And can every tell me how you launch your cars? Like what rpm range ? And do you drop the clutch ? or do you feather it out ?
