I live in Colorado, which is really central, but I want to make a road trip, so I vote for somewhere like, Pensacola, FL. Or New Orleans. Or Biloxi, or Galveston. Central, with a beach. Yeah....

My vote's for Vegas.
Plenty to do there. Race track, both street course and drag strip. Plenty of hotels and casinos. And good buffets.

I like this idea and I can dig on Vegas. Be a hell of a drive though, but serious fun.

We should definately have this somewhere that has a racetrack. I also think it needs to be during a better time of year so we all have our cars, settle down with them, and can prepare for a meet. There's going to be lots of new members that will get Evos and will just have joined the forums. They will need some time to prepare for something like this. For now, we could plan the place and even contact them for scheduling and costs. It's never too early to prepare

So how many Lancers plan on showing? Let's get a list of locations/tracks and anyone interested in attending, please post here to let us all know.

Mark: assuming this is planned for next year when we get our Evos I would be interested in attending.

I live in Michigan though (near Toledo, Ohio) how much would it cost to send the car by truck and then pick it up someplace? (i would fly to LV) no way in *hell* am I driving all the way to Las Vegas.

1. It would cost a BUTT-load of cash.....it's pretty much out of the question as far as I'm concerned. I don't wanna put judgement on your funds, but even if I had that kinda dough I still wouldn't do it.

2. Why wouldn't you wanna take a nice trip across this great nation. I garauntee you it'll be the trip of a lifetime. Granted, the Evo probably isn't the most comfortable of a car to be taking a long trip on, but still. It would be an amazing experience.
