Is there an aftermarket for them?
How do they take to mods?
Is the horse power cheap like supras? or expensive like VR4?

I don't think it's Supra easy (those are crazy!) to make power, but I think 340 isn't too hard to come by. Check out the article section of this site:

The Evos vs Scoobies has a few dyno numbers on Evos. There's one Evo V only boosting ~12psi and made 340hp I think. Only mods were HKS Induction Kit, Exhaust, and BOV... I think.

Of course, mods are not easily available now (the EVO is not officially here yet, duh)

But in Japan, numerious companies have parts for the EVO, including Ralliart (duh), HKS Kansai, Bozz, Jun, you name it....

Just go get a "HyperRev" EVO catalog and you will see almost every mod available for the EVO.

 

12PSI and already running 340hp on a 3200lbs car?!?! I need 15PSI to get 400ish out of a 3800lbs car with an intake, exhaust, downpipe, and boost controller.
