Nothing much. ES has a gray or tan interior, no side skirts or front/back lips, steel wheels, different gauge faces. That's it. ES has stick as the base. Autos cost more...

Pretty much the reason I got the ES was that if I'm gonna replace the wheels, possible the the front and rear bumbers for a kit etc, I might as well just get something bone stock (I got the package that combines some of the nick-nacks from the LS).

yea, just ask the ricers: for every ft^2 of yellow paint you have on your car, it's +5hp.

...

The only differences in the US lancer models are trims, available features, and colors.

Mitsubishi Motors

They break it down pretty well. I think I built my car about a hundred times before I finally bought it.

Ah yes. The Build and Price thing. That was fun to play with. As for the spoiler, I think someone said it comes stock on OZ's but that's false technically. Sure a lot of dealers have 'em on their cars, but it's still an extra feature.

Yeah, actually...MSRP for the spoiler is something like 360 beans. If I were considering an Evo spoiler I would have scrapped it...but I think I've expressed my feelings about them enough already on other threads.

I hate the ES it has the cheesy faux wood trim it looks SOOO BAD!!! And I'm a little depressed with all these people wanting evo body kits and such.... You don't have an evo so why you gonna fake it out?!? Just like those civic and integra punks with their big red TYPE R stickers everywhere... I laugh at the civic boys, and I will laugh at you too. Is it that bad to just have a non Evo lancer?!?

Eh...the Evo kit is kind of ridiculous...unless you can have the performance to back it up (which that yellow Lancer at SEMA might have had). Even that didn't have the Evo kit...it was what it was: a turbo'd Lancer.

*raises hand* I agree with yellow. An Evo bodykit is a $1500 dollar Type-R sticker.
