First off, after you reset the ECU, are you starting the car and letting it idle for 10 minutes? Gotta let it relearn at idle first.

Of coure it runs fine with the stock pipe - that's what the ECU is tuned for!

Actually what is going on here, is he has a breather on the valve cover and not a silicone hose connected to the intake, this is making him run lean on idle.

Thanks alot for all ur replies guys, yes after i reset the ecu i let the car idle for 10 minuts and took it around the block at a normal speed 2 let it relearn and stuff, does anyone else think it could be my breather filter thats cousing the problem and is it posible 2 fix the problem by driling a hole in that intake and reataching the silicone hose ?

Ya, I am running a breather with no problem. Best I can tell you is check for ANY and I mean ANY air leaks. The car hates intake air leaks and starts freaking out. Make sure the MAF is properly hooked up. Is it a bomz MAF? If so try running your setup with the stock MAF. That is what I have, never had a problem. Only time I had a problem is I accidently started the car after installing the intake without the MAF plugs connected and I had to go have the CEL reset even after i plugged it in.

yes, check for leaks. my car freaked when i didnt hook up the maf adapter properly. so much so my power steering stopped working. (still cant figure out that one)
keep your stock tube, stick the maf adapter on it, stick a K&N filter on that, then reset your ecu, and let it learn.

This just hit me, and hopefully you'll see it before you drill anything. Did you remove or tighten the throttle line when you did the instake install? If the butterfly in the tb is open at all, it'll totally **** up the IAC system. I'm guessing the car drives fine and only the idle sucks, right?

I haven't run my car w/ the breather on the stock ECU yet. Guess I'll find for myself out sooner or later.
