Bosch Icon Wiper Blades

These blades are like $20 a piece at Auto Zone... they claim to be frameless and last much longer... has anyone had any experience with these yet?

I still prefer PIAA's Super Silicone blades. The frameless nature is cool, but ever since I switched to silicone blades, I never want to go back to rubber.

for the price i think those are going to work out really well, but ive also heard the PIAA are really good. i would just go with the ones at autozone if they are easier to find.

The PIAA blades are really nice, just expensive. Not quite sure on whether they're worth it yet, depends on how long they last.

About a year. Normal rubber blades should be changed every 6 months.

I unfortunately got some Bosch Micro wipers from Pepboys, susposedly all natural rubber...I think. But to be honest, the driver's wiper smears badly and I'd never buy them again. This coming from the guy that actually wipes down the wipers during every car wash.

I think they come on newer Honda's from the factory (the 2 newer honda's I've driven one a 2 door civic another accord Both had less then 10k on them) had them. Not sure if it was the owners who put them on or what (same family). Was sprinkeling out when I was in the civic, seemed pretty good. Dident get to try them in a full down poor. I asked him how they were he said he loved um. They look pretty cool to.

Talking

I bought my gf a new civic and the blades work so well, I put the icons on my truck.

Rubber blades will last for years and years if cared for properly, take vinegar on a towel and continue to clean blades until no black is coming off. The black is oil that shortens the life of the rubber...

being over 50 has its advantages

I just bought a set of them today- the icons for the fronts, and a regular bosch for the back.

works better than the piaas, but i will let you guys know after a month.

one thing i like, is that it seems to be all plastic and rubber, so no "faded" black wipers after only a few months.
