I've used them over the winter and didn't have any problems with them - plus if they last longer than the normal wipers then you end up making the money back.

I tried the rainex ones before, didn't work that well after a few months.
i'm sold on the bosch icons for now, will report after a few months.
does look kinda weird though, like alien wipers.

Okay, here is my report after a few months...
THe smaller passenger side wiper had no problems (18"), but the larger drivers side (24") one had about a 3" spot in the middle of the wiper, where it was not completely touching the glass when the wiper was all the way to the left- so it wasn't wiping a small area.
I switched and got the regular bosch icon + instead.

great blades. Sell them everyday at work. Oh and i dont know if auto zone does sell the icons but i know advance auto parts does. They arent doing it anoymore but last month we had a commision offering blades and This month its on light bulbs. So alot of times we offer the best stuff to you but think about if you really want the exepsensive product sine its close to the others.

Figured I'd chime in since this thread was bumped. I had the Bosch Icon blades for about 9-10 months. Overall, for the price they cost, I wouldn't recommend them. Their frameless design works fantastically and throughout the entire life of the wipers they always kept even pressure on the windshield. Downside, though, is that the blade is still made of rubber, and after 5-6 months they started to leave more and more streaks. If Bosch came out with a product that combined this frame with a silicone blade, then they'd probably be the best wiper in the world. Until then, though, stick with PIAAs. Same price but last longer.

yeah, the piaa's were better.
i actually just chucked those single piece ones in the trash, and got regular bosch icon+ ( the one w/ the frame)....
the stupid 24" one kept having the streak in the middle, from no having enough pressure in the middle. i tried bending the blade in the other direction, but it was a no go.
