though you never mentioned if you felt gains from the port and polish on the head.

 

GREAT write-up.. i havent been in this game long enough to know what half of that stuff is.. thanks.. i have a K&N Typhoon SAI on the way.. you stated a cam also helps increase gas mileage.. can i put a cam on an '03 Lancer ES.. by the way its AUTO.. thanks..

I don’t have an aftermarket cam, I just have the adjustable cam gear. Everywhere I read you don’t get a cam till you have lots of other supporting mods. The cam gear is 4 oz lighter than the stock. So yes it does help the engine spin up a little quicker and this does help MPG! I have not fiddled with it. I will be doing this in December when I go to the dyno.

if you guys think it's impressive reading the list--i've been in the car. i also got to experience that flat-spotting on the tires firsthand. woohoo. pulling up next to adam you would have no idea that all this stuff is under the hood (and everywhere else). the car looks almost completely stock, it's very clean.

hey adam, if you need someone to take some pictures of the car i could bring my digital camera when we put the teins on. oh, and are you guys going out to devens on sunday? if my car is all squared away by then i totally want to register!

 

nope the season is finished, sadly and yes TEIN on saturday

 

oh man, was that the last event? my buddy with his WRX just got his license back, too!

oh well... bright and early for next year's season, right?
