Talking Bolt-On Response

Some of the mods on EvoM say that bolt-on mods for our cars give little help in the N/A world. would that matter on newer models of the 4g94? just a question. cuz in my experience, it makes a pretty big difference.

There is no "newer" version of the 4G94. It's the same motor, year after year.

Furthermore, it doesn't matter what motor or what car you have. N/A mods don't add much power. They are not a bang/buck kind of thing. N/A mods are an "every little ounce of HP I can get" kind of thing.

Sorry to burst your bubble. If you want big power, you can either go crazy (build N/A motor, every mod available, DIY mods that aren't available, and a big shot of nitrous) or you can go forced induction.

I'd be willing to bet the "some of the mods" part means "Blacksheepdj."

All my NA mods are here

I said a little bit of what each did. THe biggest diffrence between 02-03 is the fuel system. 04-06 has a returnless fuel system but there are ways around that. Other than that all the part numbers are the same

Most of the bolt on mods change the power curve and add some hp. The thing is that even with all of the mods I have now I'd be lucky to be hitting 120whp. At the crank it might be 10hp more.

The only real way to get good power out of our cars is to go F/I.

There is something to be said however for changing the power curve though. By adding breathing mods driving on the highway is much better for me. I now have the power in third and forth to pass when I need to. From a stop my car is about as fast as a grandmother on a unicycle going up hill in a blizzard, but hey I'll take what I can get till I get a turbo setup.
