I don't necessarily know if that price is too high. It's a bit above Blue Book, and anyone who's interested in a Lancer like that (read: young folks, not soccer moms) should expect to pay a touch more for the snail...

Is that your car? Where is the front grill? And in one of the pics you can't see the exhaust... And why is the idle at 1600... I think you need to fix that before you sell. Just asking cause I have someone that is interested.

It doesn't have a muffler, its a 2 1/2in straight pipe. th idle is at 1600 rpm which makes clutch launches a bit easier on the drivetrain. I took the grill off becuase it was over heating at the track a bit. ive lowered the price to 6k if anyone is interested

Definitely deal with the issues before selling it, god knows I wouldn't buy a car that has an absurdly high idle (thats almost 1/3 of the total power range) and admitted cooling problems.

"This car ran a 14.5@93 mph w/5 people in it at wendover raceway."

Why would you get into the drag strip with 5 people in your car and not run with only the driver in the car?

A used car with engine/fuel problems tends to turn people that are looking for a reliable car away.
Fix that idle and your car will be much more appealing.

What else is wrong with the car? How big of a shot of nitros are you running? And why? Nitros on stock internals on our cars is a huge no no.

who says the nitrous is going into the motor? I use it for the intercooler, and the idle can be fixed by turning a screw

And we were messing around at the strip. i raced a honda boy who thought he could beat me, so for fun, we loaded the lancer up. i ended up beating him. good times though

And back to the original post...has anyone had any luck selling cars on ebay?

^^^How's your feedback look? How many? and how high is your precentage? That'll tend to ease buyers knowing that you're trustworthy.
