What to do?

Okay, when I put my foot on the accelerator just a little to maintain a steady speed, i hear kind of a rattle (i guess) coming from the left wheel/engine side, I also get something similar to this when i'm at a stop light. I think it might be the intake jumping up and down, I just dont know what else it can be, maybe a loose bblt or something. Should I take it to a Mitsu dealer to get it checked out or something? How much would they fix/check it for?

Seeing as you have no idea what the rattle is, it's sorta hard to gauge how much it would cost to repair... I would just open the hood, play with the throttle cable, until you can replicate the sound... Once you find out what it is, fix it... Save you tons of $$$ in the long run, and never hurts getting under the hood to learn something...

could be your rusted exhaust shields? I had that problem not too long ago. So I just ripped them off, and no more rattle.

Seems to have been the intake bounching up and down (I think)
I just stuck something under the filter to keep it pushed up and unable to move around, sound seemed to go away but it still squeals for some reason =/

Does it squel when you gas it? If it does it could be a loose belt.

Thank you.

I cannot believe that I just read someone say "well, it rattled because it was loose. I jammed something in there, and that helped, but it didn't fix it."

Well I tried tightening the bolts, but for the most part they werent that loose. Maybe I should just get a cold air intake so I dont have to secure it :P
I'm at 52k miles and yeah it squeals when I gas it (Good Guess) I think it gets more annoying when I drive in the rain (but that may be a different squeal lol)

What would I do about a loose belt? I have some extra belts in my closet I dont use I could tighten it with duct tape?

Lol thanks for you alls time so far <3
