Future plans

I thought about what I want to do with my car considering the recent arrival of new products and so far I've come up with this list.

Engine
Ported and polished head from A2 designs complete with upgraded camshaft, cam gear and valve springs
Replace ported 4G94 intake manifold with ported 4G93 manifold (stage 2 intake upgrade from A2 designs), included in this is FPR and 275 cc injectors
Replace RRM header with A2 design header (looks to be a better design and a DP would be nice)
S-AFC or Greddy Emanage for tuning
Zeitronix wideband O2 sensor (what other gauges would be useful on an NA engine?)

Suspension
Coilovers (thinking either Tein or Ksport)
Rims and tires (probably 15" bronze Rota torques or grids with 215/50 or 205/50 BFG G-force sport or similar tire)

Interior
Only thing I would do here is get a autopower 4 pt rollbar with harnesses for racing (god knows if I'm gonna dump this much money into a lancer it better be for racing)

Exterior
OZ lip kit
Spoiler of some sort (this will probably come down to which ever one is available for the cheapest price)

Thoughts?

Sounds good. I'd definitaly would go with Greddy Emanage with Digimoto and NGK wideband gauge. NGK because it's cheap and for the rest of the money you can buy Digimoto and monitor other valuable data. Which stage (cams and ported head) are you interested in?

I think the A2 head is just one stage, and the cam is equivalent to a RPW stage 2.

Go A2 designs turbo kit!! Actually, a lot of people say go turbo but it isn't really possible for some people (including me).
I would go with
The A2 designs stage 3 P&P head
RRM Pistons
A2 IM/CAI/FPR/injectors
RPW headers with full catback from greddy or magnaflow
RRM TB
RRM Piggyback, Emanage

and then I would be happy.

Turbo is going to be most power for the initial cost but your maintenance and risk of turbo will end up being pricey over time. It would be really interesting to see how your car will perform with such extensive NA mods

man i wish i had the ***** to go rollcage

Not sure about turbo, realistically I could still go turbo after I did all this NA stuff, would just need to install a decompression gasket and change the tune.

It's just a roll bar, only real problem associated with it is you lose the use of your back seats.

Oh yeah and in terms of order I was thinking wideband first so I can monitor my engine, then start collecting the ported and polished head, FPR, injectors, camshaft, cam gear, emanage/S-AFC and manifold, and install them all together. After that go for the coilovers and rims, then roll bar and harnesses. Last things would be spoiler and header. Lip kit I'm not sure about, depends on when it becomes available.
