Help Meeeee

im in a pickle, should i get a used lancer and tech it up or wait 1 year or so and get an evo..

I already have parts for a lancer like a bodykit, headers, steering wheel and more. I wanna get it manual also.

On the other hand i can wait. I have like 1000 bucks right now after all my modding and if i sell my car i can prolly get 15k right? 6400 miles, 2003 automatic lancer. so thats like 16, then sell all my parts for like 2k which would be 18k then save up for a year and a half and get an evo..

but if i get a lancer and deck it out then i can get sponsored, but lancer has sohc and i dont think you can change that can you?

just help me out pleeeeeease

If you've already got the lancer parts, i say get the lancer and put all your stuff into it... drive it till you get tired of it and trade it in on an EVO, or, sell it and buy your evo.

If your under 21, insurance will kill you on an Evo. But if you can save 10k+ in a year I guess you can afford it.

Sell the Lancer on your own, don't soup it up, then soup up the used Lancer manual. Aftermarket partsactually hurts trade-in value, so that'd definitely be a no no when dealing with dealerships. If you want to sell it on your own, I still don't recommend putting aftermarket parts before selling it, just because most people would still want the warranty, after all your Lancer is still a fairly new car. Then try to find a used Lancer in classified ads.

You have an option for an Evo or Lancer and there is a debate? I Love my Lancer but if I could ever in my dreams own an Evo I would! But that is just me.
