hey everybody...i just got a 2002 Lancer ES and i was wondering where i should start to modify it....i really dont know a whole lot of technical info about cars...just the basics really....but any insight and explanations as to why you would suggest modifications would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

If I was you I'd run searches and read as much as the forum as possible to begin your modding. Knowledge of what you're doing to you car is the best 'mod' you can get for it.

As far as the mods go, it depends on the track you want to take. Show or Go. If you wanna make it Go, people would generally suggest going with intake and exhaust first. If you're looking for a more Show-y route you could always do new springs (or coilovers) and ICE. Either way I'd also recommend getting new wheels and tires. Nothing personalizes a car more than the wheels you roll around on. Run searches on all these things for more information and inform yourself before you make any moves. Remember, it's your car and so you should do whatever makes you the happiest
