Unhappy Seat belt

Does anyone else have the problem of their seat belt locking up way too easily? It's like mine is set too sensative or something. The damn thing locks up hitting a small bump in the road or cornering quick etc. I've never had a car that the seat belt locks up so easily the way my Lancer does. Pisses me off at times when I'm trying to lean forward to check my mirrors etc. and I can't cause the belt locks up, sometimes seems like it locks for no reason at all!

If you lean forward too quickly.....they lock up......
If you hit the housing and then pull the belt....they lock up...
If you have any type of G-force change....They're gonna lock up...

I experience the same exact thing. You don't have to make any sudden movements at all. I've experimented with it. Leaning forward ever so slowly still causes it to lock up. At first it pissed me off and I wanted to rip the f'er from the car. But now that I am used to it, I enjoy it. Like bob said, it holds you in place, especially when making tight turns.

My seat belt does the same thing (lock at just about any time) which is how it is supposed to work. Like the house comment! that was good.

I think it locks too easily, for example, this morning on my way to work the damn thing locked on me for no reason at all, didn't hit a bump or corner hard or anything and the damn thing locked, I was like WTF!
