Those wheels seem to be in incredibly good shape for all of that. Good thing you didn't have a passenger - the roof on that side is nasty. Someone was looking out for you - your roof side stayed up pretty well. Glad to hear that you're OK. Is it tough sleeping with that shoulder?

Well i am glad to see your still ok. A car can be replaced, but a person cannot. Your car looked worse than my first lancer and i wrecked it going 115 mph into a telophone pole. They do keep you safe from some bad wrecks from what i have seen.

Yeah dude i looked this over, this is honestly a miracle.

I had a pretty bad accident too, they said the seatbelt was what saved me too. The Lancer is just such a ridiculously safe car.

i think you did the right thing by swerving, and if the airbag went off while you were flipping it probably would have made things worse. if you did just plow into the animal it would have set your airbags off, and it was probably just big enough to set off the airbags, but not stop your car and it could have just went and done the same thing except you'd have no control over the car after being hit with the airbag.

Nah it would have just been another part of the car that got trashed and is now junk. Yes is does help with df and the suspension huging the road but sometimes things happen that nothing u could have had or do at that time could have avoided it. (I didnt say this to rag on his statement or say he was wrong I said this cuz sometimes life just hands u a bad hand to play)

I'm amazed that all you got were bumps, bruises, and a possibly separated shoulder. Makes me wonder how the Lancer scored such a crappy crash rating. 3/5 stars.

Glad you're okay, though. Cars can be replaced.

My Lancer was totalled too, not like this. Rushed to the hospital and came out with bumps, bruises, and a dislocated thumb. Only big injury i had was some nerve damage in my chest that is permanent, but i can live around that.

in my accident, my fiance was in the passenger seat, i was driving. I fell asleep at the wheel and we rolled 8 times down a hill. She had a fractured neck in 2 places, and got bad concusion...........the crazy part is, i had ZERO injuries. Two little cuts on my hand and head.

Def one of those situations where God must have been looking out for us. Looks like he was looking out for you too mate.

So what you gonna do about the car, i'm assuming it's officially totalled. Insurance gonna sort it all out for ya, or are they being usual douchebags about it?
