sorry but stock for stock the ralliart isnt that close to the wrx. I am just waiting another year and getting an sti. Their tranny's hold alot better than an evo

 

Yeah, that probably covers it closest. But honestly, I'd put Impreza above Ralliart. Same HP figures, but the Impreza has AWD. Maybe I'm biased, since I went from OZ to RS, but that's just the way I see it.

 

When I was at the mitsu dealer the other day the man had told me the new lancer would come with a awd option for around 20k and also the evo would come in a option without the turbo setup for cheaper...i dunno bout all that

 

Well actually you are even closer. No lancer compares to the impreza untill its the evo vs sti. Then its just all opinion and w/e your future plans for the car is.

 

speed wise the 04-06 RA's can take the impreza's any time from a dig or from a roll. that mivec really pulls hard. and the impreza has the awd whp loss.

But from an overall stand point the impreza is light years ahead of the lancer ralliart. build wise, handling, and anything else you could imagine. its the same concept with the evo and sti. evo hands down better performance, but most would argue that the sti has very good daily driver features.

 

The ricer in me says "bring it!"... but I don't know anyone with a RA, so I'll let it go.
