RRM Ceramic Coated CAI - Review.
We should have a review forum. So everyone can post their reviews there.
Install is about 20 minutes if you have the right tools. Or about 2 hours if you have the wrong ones. The directions are good, but only if you choose to read them. The filter lies right behind where the fog lights are (or should be).
Shape and Looks
The ceramic coat wasn't perfect, some scratches, but this could be do to shipping.
Like everything else RRM offers, the build quality is awesome. Flawless fit and not crush bent piping.
Performance
Well if you start racing from a cold start, that's what it feels like. There's not much gain (or any) in winter. But in summer, it helps keep it's peak performance, and that's what counts.
Better than the Competition?
They're all the same crap. AEM looks prettier?? But then again, this is half the price.
Worth Doing Custom
No. I don't know how much pride you take doing custom things, but PVC pipe looks sketch and bending pipe to fit is a lot more work than you want. Even so, if your time is worth 5 $/hour, a custom job will end up costing double RRMs.
Sound
More grunt... On WOT you kinda it sounds like you have a mini stang engine. I like grunt. So the sound alone is worth it for me.
Overall
It's an RRM product. Enough said.
