stock hood cost

Does anybody know how much a stock hood cost for an 05 lancer, mine looks like someone Karate chopped it. I most likely will get a carbon fiber one, but I want to know the cost off set

usually, used hoods go for between $200-$250 in good shape. I searched around a bit cause I was gonna sell my stock hood. thats kinda what I found. The issue is shipping. at that point its almost worth getting a CF unless you can pickup a used hood.

Well I am wondering if it is worth making a claim to insurance if the stock hood is either a fixable which if its under my 500 deductible I will be paying for or if the replacment is under the cost of a CF hood then that also does me no good to report it

We could throw numbers out all day. Just go get an estimate. They're free. It will tell you if it can be fixed and how much it will cost. Then you can determine what to do.

go on ebay. you should be able to find something cheap on there. It may not be top quality, but it will be inexpensive.
