I had a Greddy evo II catback on my OZ and it helped power a little. Cat delete hepled even more. That auction doesn't sound like a bolt on setup, which might be a pain. If it worked right he would have it on his car.

definitely sounds like it's not bolt on. the guy said no shops (weird) would weld it for him.

there are some nice N1 knock-off setups on ebay for under $250 shipped. i will probably buy one soon. i need something to replace my current setup because the tailpipe i had welded to the muffler (d'oh big mistake) is rusting out... damn thing hasn't even been on the car a year. i WOULD get a magnaflow setup... but for half the price and since i've heard good things... ebay FTW!

Be careful with ebay goods, currently the evo forums are going nuts on this very issue.

if your looking for something that wont cost an eye for barely any performance just get a nice muffler and take the car to your local muffler shop, $150 - 200 at the most for a cat-back

thats cool but my only problem is i already have after market headers and the cat delete pipe, so a lot of the shops i take it to wont work on it cause its "not legal" to work on an exhaust that has or will not have a cat in it. but ill look into it. right now i just have the stock exhaust after the cat delete and took the big muffler on the end off and put on a baffle. its kind of ricey but it was worth a shot for $20. but i think ill just get a decent cheap muffler from like pep boy/autozone and a nice end muffler and take it to the muffler shop and let them make me on. because right now i have NO back presure and thats killing any takeoff i already had

It's header, you have one header, not headers. If you have no backpressure, why not put in a high flow cat or the stock cat? That way you 1. won't be driving an illegal vehicle, 2. won't have a car that could wake the dead, 3. you won't get that "I'm a ricer" sound and 4. you'll actually have a functional exhaust system as you'll gain some backpressure. I have every bolt on available (more or less) and I still have my stock cat in place. Even after I go turbo I'm going to keep my stock cat for a while.
