Post I got my 2002 Lancer brochure in the mail...

It's a very clean looking vehicle. It almost looks like a poor mans IS300. If there was some way to add about 60-80 more hp and keep, the price below 20k, I would definitly pass up the new SE-R for a Silver OZ Rally Lancer.

Got one in the mail yesterday also. It does kinda resemble an IS 300. Now only if they could add about 100hp and awd I like the yellow color too.

The interior is mostly the same too? Gas cap must be the same as well. The headlights, etc should also be the same.
Well, seats are different, and the gauges definitely.

The EVO pics I have seen showed a completely different front fascia from the regular Lancer. Different headlight, grill, hood, bumper. The OZ rally Edition adds the EVO's gauge cluster.

I stopped by a dealer yesterday and finally saw the Lancers. They had an OZ rally edition there, and the nice OZ wheels are these tiny 15" things. They look entirely too small on the car.
Other than that the car was fairly nice looking. Needed a vented hood, big rims, nice spoiler, etc.

You want the small 15" wheels for gravel and ice/snow racing.
Smaller wheels cut into the surface, giving better grip on gravel/snow/ice
18" for tarmac

I dont think it's rice, doesnt look very rice.
The older impreza RS is much more rice than this
