Just thought I tell about a incidnet that happened this past weekend at the drag strip. My company was doing what we do, selling race tires and wheels. Across from us was a super fast WRX from Drivers Image. Earlier in the day they had run a 12sec flat run and were so stoked.

About 3:30 I heard the loudest BANG!! I had ever heard. It shook the trailer and you could feel the concusion in the air. My ears were ringing it was so loud! I went over by the Drivers Image Trailer and saw the front end of the Subi had been partially blown off and the lights were knocked off.

Come to find out the Nitros line blew up! Tha stuff is not to be played with for sure.

 

Did the driver come out OK. Yeah that stuff can be pretty dangerous even in experienced hands.

It happened while the car was just sitting in the pits. No one was hurt, but the guys did have a baby in a stroller about 7ft away when it went BANG!!

Another reason why I'll NEVER put NoS in any car I own. I don't need speed that much to risk my engine or my life, man.
