I started driving there this morning, and after 10 mins of driving on the interstate, one of my brand new tires blew out. So i won't be going up there this weekend.

If anyone is in the neighborhood and feels like going to get my hood +$50 from Justin. and then ship the hood to me, i would appreciate it. I can paypal money if the shipping costs more than $50

Update::::

I called him and he said he found a box big enough for the hood. And he said he is leaving work early on monday and he will ship it for me, saying as i just had to spend $100 on a tire, so i can't afford to drive up there

 

damn that sucks... what tires were they? (so we know to avoid them! )

hope you get that hood soon... you've been jumping through hoops left and right for that thing.

he shipped the hood today. he gave me a tracking number, which i am gonna confirm in the morning.

so hopefully i will have the hood by the weekend

tracking number was confirmed, i will be getting the hood tomorrow.
installing it tomorrow evening, and taking it to the shop tuesday morning for the paint job.

i will have photos by wednesday

Cool! About time... It's cool though cuz alot of times you'd lost your $$$ and been out the hood. But looks like it's been pulled through.

yeh, this thread and the one in OT, definitly helped.
it looks like i won't get the car till tomorrow or friday though, which sucks.

But the good thing is, because i repaired my suspension myself, and bought all the parts, and fitted the hood myself. I'm gonna get like $1000 back from the insurance company.
So i'm gonna pay of my credit card, and hopefully have a little spending money.

This is working out pretty good

 

So sounds like the guy isnt a scammer, just lazy
