Help me stop a scammer people.
i already have a thread in OT asking for help, but i know most of you guys don't read around there and i could use all the help i can get.

I was in a small accident a while back and i needed to replace my hood. So i sent a member baileysboostdoz $200 for a carbon fiber hood he had for sale.

it has been a month how since i sent him the money and i still don't have the hood. I managed to find his phone number last week and i called him. he said he has been busy and he would send the hood. I have tried calling him since then and he has not answered his phone. which makes me think he is ignoring me.

The first 2 weeks after i sent him the money, he kept in touch with me, and had various excuses for why he hadn't sent the hood, but now he is completely ignoring me.

Also if anyone lives in NC and lives within like an hours drive of Whiteville, i would appreciate it if you could maybe go visit this guy and get my hood.

I need as much help as i can get. I have just bought a house and i'm getting married, i just don't have the time for this crap and my stress level is being pushed.

if you sent him a cashier's check, post up his address. We can use that with whitepages.com to get his home phone number since the one given is a cell phone #.

man I'm glad I didn't try and buy that hood... I think sawulkn bought a ken style kit from him like a month and half ago and he hasnt got it yet...

Funny (not really though), but I PM'd him a few times about wanting to get that hood too. I would have picked it up though and he had no problems with that... I actually got him down to $175 picked up. He didn't seem like he was trying to scam me, especially since he wasn't against me picking it up. Hard to say, but if he's ignoring you maybe a Paypal dispute could encourage him to talk...

i paid cashiers check. he wouldn't take paypal. and i've already called him a billion times. he is ignoring me. calls/emails everything.

Why doesnt someone from NC act like they are the ones who purchased it. Have them try to pick it up for you. I would offer to do so, but I live in Easley SC which is a very long drive to where he is at. Wish I could help more, sorry you were scammed.
