When I stopped at my local dealer, they had just gotten in a dark metallic grey 08'GTS in. Call me crazy, but I really liked it. I can't wait to see what the Evo X will bring. I absolutely love the body style of the car. Its quite aggressive and intimidating in my opinion.

 

this post doesnt make any sense. Its a matter of taste. I personally like very few cars that are coming out lately. They are ALL getting uglyer. imo

I agree 100%. If I could take the susp components and engine and drop them in my 03 id be super happy. lol

 

How is this any different from the ES, LS, and OZ all having the same power level? For nine-billonth time, the GTS is equivalent to the old OZ - only better in every way.

 

 

I would gladly take a GTS!!!! My g/f and I bought a 2007 Outlander yesterday and I couldn't take my eyes off the silver GTS the dealer had. I will drive my RA one more year and trade it in when the incentive's come out on the GTS.

 

Can someone post an actual source of information that states that the RA will be turboed? Im not seeing where this is coming from.

 

wow... that car looks like garbage. from the gay gauge cluster that has gauges reminiscent of the mini cooper, to the horrible hvac cluster. whats up with the engine bay. is the plastic part really needed that says mivec in chrome letters? mitsu took a turn for the worst in making this new lancer. sure the 4b11 looks nice and all, but now all the people with evox's are going to say, the lancer is a wannabe evo, even moreso now than ever before. tailights are eh too. im glad mitsu made the headlights smaller. hopefully they have better output. oh well thats my .02 cents. later.

Based on this only the 4B11T which is going to be in the evo is the only turboed engine. Unless mitsu is planning to drop the same engine in the RA (Which doesn't make any sense) it will just be a N/A engine.

Still waiting on my dealer traden my 04 RA in on a GTS and im chomping at the bit test drove a drak gray GTS at one dealership but getn a sick deal at my dealership. You have to see it in person to really get the whole effect trust me its frickn sweet.

 

They could always come back and change that information, as they have done in the past. The thinking AFAIK that if the RA was turbo that it would have the same Evo engine, just detuned. Otherwise, according to that, there is no 2008 Evo either.

 

Yeah, I have done some research and there seems to be a big cloud over the new RA but its to far off for me to wait. Dont see them releasing it before the new EVO and (EVO)is not coming out until the first 1/4 of 2008 and will be a 2009 model so there is no 2008 EVO and RA will be mid summer to early fall of 2008 as far as I can tell and demand will be so high be lucky to get 1 for 1st 2-3 months its out . Plus I am thinking price is going to jump on EVO to 35k-40k so I bet RA is at least 27k+ (about same price as WRX).This is just what i think but I have done some homework on it and was debating on waiting but just think its to far down the road for me, so GTS is were im heading.
