I was just curious when you purchased your 2008 Lancer. I bought mine on
April 1st and have 500 miles on it so far. So i guess list the date and how many miles on it so far ....

Ya i live in orange county ( cali ) and i havnt seen another new lancer on the road yet. I like the car alot, and thats coming from someone who owned a hooked up 350z... I love the looks of the car, the interior is really clean, and the body kit it comes with is pretty nice in my opinion... Ive pretty much done all i can do to the car since theres really nothing out yet for it as far as after market parts go.. Ive tinted the windows, threw in two 10' w6 subs and dynamatted the entire trunk. Also got a greddy billet shift knob.. Nothing too exciting but its somthing i guess.

Ya i guess i forgot about rims, which is somthing i could switch out, but the main reason i got rid of my z is becuz i wanted to start saving money lol ... After exhaust, vertex body kit, custom system, and a few bolt ons i really didnt have too much money to spend on other things.. PLus insurance and premium gas sucked.. This lancer is a little cheaper all around..... But from going from a $32,000 car to a $17,000 car i couldnt be happier...

I think new lancer has all the good upgrads but i still like my 03 Lancer oz, probably not gonna trade it,

 

Since this is my first mitsu im not too familiar with the older lancers but ive read a few posts where people said the same thing u did.. Plus im sure u get used to your ride and then your car becomes your baby so to speak lol.... Thats how i felt when i sold my z

 

I bought mine yesterday the 10th at 8:30pm.

I only have about 80 miles on mine now (I got it at 12) because I had to return my rental car and sell my old car off. But now its time to get back into autocross and rallying. Im gonna rack up the miles quick.

Where are you at 350? How are you liking yours?

im in fullerton but i work over in irvine at oakley... I see your in costa mesa so your not too far... What color and options did u get.. I got a black gts with no options manual trans.. Ive tinted my windows and threw in a couple jl audio dub 3's.... I also bought a greddy billet shift knob which i heard will give me about 10 extra horse power lol ... Hopefully ill see ya drivin around sometime
