Anybody that bought the rmr exhuast through mitsubishi when they bought the cars will be happy to know that mitsubishi has issued a service bulliten on them saying that the tip is melting the paint of the bumpers and that mitsubishi is not responsable to fix it. I just saw it today.
Did you read this in print or online? If it's online do you think you could send a link for any of those who have the RMR exhausts or are otherwise interested? You can count me in as one of the latter.
Similarly, has anyone experienced this who posts?

it would only melt paint off bumper if you knock the hangers outta place.. other wise it will not effect anything. I rolled back and my muffler hit a curb. and knock my muffler outta place then it melted my paint a little.. but got it adjusted..

I saw it on a inhouse tech bulliten, i cant get a copy of it, but you can call your local mitsu dealer to find out if they have gotten it yet.

Does Mitsu warranty these exhausts, or are they merely selling them at dealers.
Some dealers offer them, but our dealer got the bulliten saying mitsu wont warrenty them.

Won't warranty them huh. People say reason to buy RMR is because Mitsu will warranty. Very interesting!
