hey guys i purchased a pair of Ralliart taillights from another member for my ES and i installed them today. They look fantastic, but i was wondering how is the trunk sealed w/ the lights? i noticed there wasn't any rubber moldings round the taillights. so when it rains does the water just go around the lights or something?

And i also noticed that my right tail light doesn't line up w/ the body and sticks out about about 1 or 2 mm (very minimal) past the body on the side. Do u guys think i will have a problem w/ leaks? or will it not be a problem? The part of the light thats along the backside of the car lines up fine.

 

You should be fine. They fit just like the ones that came on your car so leaks won't be a problem. Some peoples tail lights do stick out a tiny bt like you said ok the side. Not sure why, but I haven't seen any problems with it. I'd say either pour some water on it or wash the car and check for leaks. If nothing, then you are good to go.
