Diffrent color on oz`s

I have a silver oz rally and it has alot of scratches and scuff`s i was thinking of buying a body kit and just repainting the whole car to a diffrent color.

My question is what exactly would i have to do plates and vin number and so on, so its registerd to the new color?

I believe nothing on the VIN. VIN doesn't say the color.

In general it doesn't but if you ever go back to Mitsu for anything they will know that you changed the color since they have the master database for our cars. But outside of that it's nothing that you really need to worry about.

The VIN can tell the dealership what color it's supposed to be...but I don't have a clue what letter/number tells them that. But there have been very successful color changes to Lancers on these boards. Check out the thread on OZLancer1 (hope that's it) and his Lambo orange paint job!

I don't think there is a letter/number involved - odds are they just keep a database of all the VINs with a field for the color.

It really doesn't matter.

VIN - nothing.
Plates - probably would be wise to mention it next time you renew your tags.

Otherwise, it's nothing earth shaking. It's kind of like how you don't get a new drivers license if you shave your head and get contacts.
