Ideas on how to get it off?

 

if its the same as an evo, just get a pick(i actually used a fork) and pick it. there is a little hole more towards the switch side that you can stick it in, itll come right off. i assume this is to change the bulb

 

I was going to put brighter bulbs in there and I was doing what you're saying but with a flathead screwdriver, something sparked and my cd player/domelight/powerlocks/trip mileage all died, I checked the fuses and they all seem to be in order so i figured I might have snapped a wire trying to get the thing off and want to see what I hit but can't get the darn thing off. I'll try again since I prob. cant mess it it more than it is now lol, I thought there may have been some hidden screw or something holding it up

 

did they come back on? disconnect your battery when doing it

 

they've been off for a few days now

 

It should just pop right off. Sounds like you shorted the wires and blew the fuse. Recheck your fuses and look for a fues that is for your radio. Your dome light and powerdoor locks are probably all tied to that same circut.

The dome light should pop right off. Check your fuses.

 

I had the same exact prob. If it's the same as the evo, it's the 10 fuse in the little yellow plastic holder in the fuse box in the engine compartment. PM me if you have more questions
