What to buy
got 1k to spend for my baby... n i was planning on getting just the piggyback n wide band... already have pulley, eliminator, intake, exhaust, headlights, eyelids, spoiler, short shifter, floor lights, underbodies, rims... new tires that are just starting to look worn down after three months, tints, new blades, just change oil, gave it a throttle body service.. other small things.. now i thought it was time to add on.
should i get a clutch and flywheel?... stock sucks
camshaft?...
and what about the wideband... what kind of difference has anyone seen with that. Let me know Please

Yeah, engine mods really are worthless if you are looking for any sort of gain besides a louder car, unless you get a turbo. So only spend that money on a turbo or suspension if you want results. I'd third, or fourth the coilovers. Apparently they are amazing. Get some Teins.

those are Megans. $800-$1000 or so ive seen. New up and coming to the Lancer community. Much like the Ksports only they seem better. Tein is slippin with that Megan set out and getting talked about now for sure. Megan + Ksport = two great inexpensive choices for the Lancer.
To me the Megan and the KSports are a way better deal then the Tein. At least with the Megan and the KSports you get the adjustable pillowball mount for the front. Sure Tein have been around for a while, but until they offer there coilover kit for the Lancer with a pillowball mount, I think there sales might slip a little. Of course that is just my opinion. Somebody educate me to what upper strut mounts are used for the Tein Coilovers.

If you can wrap your head around fuel map and ignition timing modification, you could save some cash and go the ECUFlash route instead of a piggy. $89 for the programming cable, and $25 for the EVOScan program. Check out the ECUFlash thread in the Engine Tuning section of the tech forums for more info.
