if that doesn't work, a little wet sanding with 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit will

clay bar should do it. as long as its not like overspray from a paint job that was cleared over.

I bought some really cheap polishing compound at Wal Mart once. Its in a round white container with a green (I think) Turtle Wax label. It was like $2. It works great on all kinds of crap that gets on your paint. But don't make a habit of using it too much. I would go with a clay bar first.

Clay bar works well for things like this, but post pics so we can see how bad the overspray is.

what kind of paint is it latex or oil base? if is latex u can use little bit of reg gas on a rag then wash n wax, I'm a painter n I deal with this sometimes

That's pretty close to the stuff I mentioned about... Comes in a can, white w/ green lettering I believe.

i'm gonna have to try the clay bar thingy. the idiots who painted my car got some overspray on the black plastic window surround thingys.

local body shop guy told me to use some gas and a rag, when i had road tar on my old spec v it worked great. just wipe it on and off with a dry rag. when done go to the car wash
