try some mineral spirits on a rag... use sparingly tho. After that use a clay bar with [carwash] soap and water instead of the spray lubricant included with the bar. The mineral spirits will soften up the overspray, and the claybar should take it right off. If that doesn't work you'll have to use a buffer (not the average orbital one, but a grinder type) and compound it.

like I said bud, wet sanding will take it out...... I know the idea of sanding your paint sounds horrible, but it'll be ok.

youre sure you used a lubricant with the claybar? soap and water will work but there are specific types of lubricants for use with claybars.

I dunno if you tried it yet but acetone works wonders, it will however strip the stock paint right off your car so use it really easy, just tap it with a cloth (or one of those soft cotton ball thingys) where you over sprayed and it should come off

ps dont get it in your eyes or inhale the fumes (oops) but it will get the job done
you can buy it at walmart

if it's anything besides a detail wax it would be a super super fine compound. So it's not really worth it. Besides a real claybar is so much easier and faster in my opinion.
